In commemoration of this year’s Constitution Day–marking the 226th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution–four members of the law faculty will preview several high-profile constitutional cases set for argument during the Supreme Court’s upcoming term.  Join Professors Coenen, Devlin, and Sullivan, and Vice Chancellor Diamond, as they discuss and take questions on the major constitutional issues that the Court is set to address, ranging from the meaning of the Recess Appointments Clause, the scope of Congress’s powers to implement treaties, and the constitutional validity of statewide affirmative-action bans.  Lunch will be served.
