The LSU Law Center Computing Services Helpdesk is located in Room 317 Law Center and can also be reached online through this site or at 225-578-4898 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The helpdesk is staffed by three full-time technology support professionals. Law Center faculty, staff, and administration depend on the helpdesk for assistance with computer hardware and software, from installation and maintenance to assistance in learning and using programs and equipment.
Students depend on the helpdesk for assistance with personal laptops, both Windows and Macintosh. Walk-in assistance includes setup and troubleshooting for the LSU wireless network, antivirus software, Student Print Center access, exam software, and Law Center logon ID help. Additional student support is available as time permits and includes virus and spyware disinfection, data recovery from crashed systems, and system cleanup.
Helpdesk customers can access Footprints, a web-based helpdesk tracking system, to request assistance or track their support issues. Footprints can be accessed using the link below, and requires a Law Center logon ID and password (this is different from myLSU).
