The inaugural issue of LSU Law made its debut in mid- April, 2007. The magazine was distributed to an audience of alumni, academics, and administrators across the country.
LSU Law chronicles three significant events: the Law Center’s Centennial Year, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and the changing of the guard as Chancellor Costonis returns to full-time teaching in July 2007. It also considers fundamental issues regarding the Law Center’s past, present, and future through numerous feature stories, profiles, and articles of contemporary significance. While focusing on the Law Center’s roots in Louisiana, LSU Law spotlights the national impact of innovations and traditions at the state’s premiere law school.
