Graduates from the classes of 2007, 2002, 1992, 1982 and 1972 celebrated their respective class reunions on Friday, March 30.
The day began in the McKernan Auditorium with a panel discussion on Practical Legal Education: What is it, and how much of it do we want? Chancellor Jack Weiss moderated the panel that included Caroline B. Blitzer, Partner, Vinson & Elkins, New York; Marcus V. Brown, Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, Entergy Services, Inc.; John Donofrio, Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, The Shaw Group; R. Keith Jarrett, President & Managing Partner, Liskow & Lewis; Honorable Jane M. Triche-Milazzo, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana; David F. Partlett, Professor & Former Dean, Emory University School of Law; and Donald J. Weidner, Dean & Professor, The Florida State University College of Law.
The reunion day culminated with a buffet dinner and reception at the LSU Faculty Club.
