LSU Law Center Honors 2013 Distinguished Alumnus and Distinguished Achievement Honorees at Awards Dinner
The LSU Law Center honored Vice Chancellor Cheney C. Joseph, Jr. (’69) as the 2013 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year and the Honorable Stanwood R. Duval, Jr. (‘66), Richard F. “Dick” Knight (’58), Marilyn C. Maloney (’75) and Michael A. Patterson (’71) for Distinguished Achievement at an awards dinner on November 1, 2013 at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center.

LSU Law is pleased to announce Apprenticeship Week, an exciting new intersession program for upperclass students that will be held January 6-10, 2014. An information session about the program will be held Monday, September 16 at 12:40 p.m. in the McKernan Auditorium.
LSU Law students and faculty donated approximately 450 hours of community service during the Public Interest Law Society’s Fall Day of Service on Saturday, August 24.
Paul Barrett, author, attorney and assistant managing editor of Bloomberg Businessweek, will present “The Law of the Jungle: The Perils of Complex Litigation” on Friday, September 6 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in Room 110 at the LSU Law Center.
